From Lockdown to Legend

Born from a spark of creativity during the COVID lockdown, Earth’s Last Guardian—an Odyssey with Faes began as an unbridled exploration of storytelling. My fingers flew across the keyboard, weaving tales at breakneck speed, crafting a world unbound by expectations. This wasn’t a meticulously plotted journey; it was an adventure in pure creative expression.

To my surprise, my no-plotting-at-all story blossomed into a thrilling narrative, challenging me at every turn. What started as a playful escape from reality transformed into a captivating quest, demanding my full attention.

While my grasp of Celtic culture may be novice, my fascination with its timeless tales knows no bounds. I couldn’t resist delving into its ink, drawing inspiration from its timeless tales and legends, albeit with my own unique twist. I bring new life into age-old myths.  As a lifelong sci-fi fan, I poured my love for the genre into crafting a tale that challenges the very fabric of reality.

A Perilous Quest

The characters navigate treacherous landscapes, both above and below the earth, as the human world descends into chaos. Formidable foes await them, the ruthless Milesians being the most horrifying. Humans and Fae alike must overcome not only physical dangers but also their own inner demons. Can they rise above the turmoil and rewrite destiny?

When Fantasy Meets Science

My work remains grounded in a deep respect for scientific truths. However, as a storyteller, I’ve taken creative liberties to amplify the drama surrounding various elements, including the potential inversion of the Earth’s magnetic pole—an actual phenomenon, though one far removed from any immediate threat. So, let’s not pack our bags just yet! In Part Three, I delve into an equation drawn from real science, but with a creative interpretation added for narrative effect. These imaginative flourishes blend fantasy with the provocative exploration of scientific concepts, leading to an unforgettable journey through the realms of imagination.

From the ethereal existence of the Fae to the prospect of world restoration, the narrative explores the delicate balance between light and dark.
